Damage limitation

There are lots of steps that you can take to minimise that damage caused by any water that enters your property. Removing stock or valuable possessions from ground level is one, re-engineering the inside of you house or business is another. IFDP undertakes flood alleviation design and realisation with techniques refined from the CIRIA guidelines. In many cases, though, this is impractical. Water-absorbent bags (see IFDP FloodBags) are a practical and inexpensive solution. You could also use Floodshield to secure you entrances.
