Community Alarms

IFDP can specify, supply and fit a range of alarm systems, suited to flood prone communities. We supply and fit products from Druck, Flowsen, HydroLogic Oriel Systems, Visonic and Greenspan.

An example of a recent installation included a robust remote sensor, outstation and communications package contained on the site of the sensor, connected to a PSTN line. A solar panel was mounted above harm’s way, ensuring against battery failure at the most important time. System benefits were:

IFDP can advise on a range of different household and commercial alarm systems. These are used by many of the country’s largest developments.

At the bottom end of the market, there are issues of reliability. We are working with suppliers to develop a cost-effective, reliable solution.
